Paju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on October 13 that it will launch Village Bus Route 079 on October 14, connecting Haeoreum Village with Unjeong Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Unjeong Jungang Station on the GTX-A metropolitan express railway.

Three buses will make 36 trips a day, with intervals of 25 to 30 minutes. The first bus will depart at 5 a.m. and the last at 11:30 p.m. The same timetable will apply on weekdays, Saturdays and public holidays.
Until now, Haeoreum Village had no village bus route directly connecting it to Unjeong Station, making it inconvenient for residents to use the railway and Starfield Village. Students traveling between Haeoreum Village and Garam Village and Byeolharam Village also had to transfer on their way to and from school.
Paju City expects the new route to serve as a transport link between the GTX-A and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, making commuting easier for residents and travel to school more convenient for students.
