"AI Transforms Everything from Homes to Industrial Sites"... LG Brings Together Future Technologies at Electronics Show
Showcasing Home Appliances and B2B Businesses and Technologies at the Korea Electronics Show
Living Layer Featuring Subscription Services, Smart Cottage, and Mobility Solutions
Technologies on Display for Data Centers, Factories, Robots, and Vehicle
At the Korea Electronics Show (KES 2026), LG Electronics will showcase its technological capabilities across a broad range of industries, from home appliances and AI (artificial intelligence) home solutions to AI data center cooling, smart factories, robotics, and automotive solutions.
LG Electronics said it will take part in the 57th Korea Electronics Show, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from October 13 to 16, and operate an exhibition under the theme "LG Life Layers." The exhibition aims to present new possibilities enabled by AI in every area of life, from everyday routines to industrial settings.
The 902-square-meter exhibition space is divided into the "Living Layer," representing customers' daily lives, and the "Industry Layer," showcasing business-to-business (B2B) technologies. It brings together LG Electronics' business areas and technological capabilities, from home appliances and residential solutions to AI industrial technologies.
The Living Layer exhibition zone features a range of products and solutions designed to transform customers' lifestyles. At the entrance, the home robot CLOiD welcomes visitors. The "Subscribe & Care" area introduces a subscription service that lets customers use home appliances while receiving ongoing care from experts. Key products on display include a freezer ice water purifier, WashCombo, a dishwasher, and a Whisen Tower air conditioner.

The kitchen features key SKS products, including an ice water purifier refrigerator, a wine cellar, and an oven. In the living room, the transparent OLED TV "LG SIGNATURE OLED T" creates a space where the view outside the window appears to flow seamlessly into media art. A separate listening room offers an immersive viewing experience through the wireless Wallpaper TV "LG SIGNATURE OLED W" and the home audio system "LG Sound Suite."
The "Smart Cottage x Spielraum" area features "MONO Core 72," a new single-story smart cottage with an area of 72 square meters. A smart cottage is a modular home that brings together LG Electronics' home appliances, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and energy solutions.
Next to the smart cottage is "Spielraum," an AI mobility solution that brings AI home solutions into a vehicle. Equipped with a refrigerator, a lightwave oven, a wine cellar, a TV, and a soundbar, the vehicle lets users enjoy a home-like environment outdoors.
The exhibition also features a solution that uses the AI home hub "LG ThinQ ON" to connect the smart cottage and Spielraum as if they were one living space. For example, users can preheat the oven in the vehicle from home, or check conditions inside the home and remotely control appliances from the vehicle.

In the "AI Data Center Solutions" area, the company is presenting its "Chip-to-Chiller" total cooling solution, focusing on heat management technology, a key challenge for AI data centers. The display covers the entire liquid cooling process, from chillers that produce large volumes of chilled water to coolant distribution units (CDUs) and cold plates that directly absorb heat from semiconductor chips. LG Electronics says its heat management capabilities, built on nearly 60 years of HVAC expertise, help ensure the stable and efficient operation of AI data centers.
The "Smart Factory" area recreates a future-oriented manufacturing site combining AI, digital twins, and robotics. Three LG MoMa (Mobile Manipulator) autonomous mobile collaborative robots are shown moving materials, carrying out tasks, and detecting safety risks in their surroundings. The display presents a physical AI-based smart factory that can assess situations and perform tasks.
The "Actuator" area traces the development of LG Electronics' motor technology, from direct-drive (DD) motors for washing machines to actuators, key components that move robot joints. Visitors can see how actuators work inside robot joints through the home robot CLOiD and AXIUM, LG's actuator brand for robots.
The "In-Cabin" area, which recreates a vehicle interior, features "LG AI-powered In-Vehicle Solutions," which use AI to turn vehicles into safe, convenient spaces tailored to their occupants.
