Hanjin Posts Q3 Revenue of 889.8 Billion Won on Strength in Global and Port Businesses
Record-high quarterly revenue
Strong cargo handling at Incheon and Pyeongtaek ports; growth at subsidiaries in the Americas and Asia
Hanjin said on October 13 that its preliminary consolidated results for the third quarter of 2026 showed revenue of 889.8 billion won and operating profit of 32.6 billion won.
Third-quarter revenue rose 11.3% year over year, setting another record for the highest quarterly revenue. The increase came as all business segments, including parcel delivery, port cargo handling and global operations, maintained steady growth.
Operating profit also increased 5.8% year over year. Cargo volumes grew in the port cargo handling business, particularly at Incheon Port and Pyeongtaek Port. Despite higher fixed costs resulting from the establishment of new fulfillment centers, the global business also improved profitability, buoyed by strong performances at overseas subsidiaries in the Americas, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
