Musinsa Beauty Exclusively Pre-Launches Laneige x Matin Kim Collaboration Lip Tint
“Mono Tune,” which changes color based on lip pH, available exclusively through October 18
Online showcase combining fashion and beauty runs through October 26
Musinsa Beauty announced on October 12 the exclusive pre-launch of “Mono Tune,” a new shade of the “Juice Pop Box Lip Tint,” created in collaboration between Amorepacific beauty brand Laneige and Korean designer brand Matin Kim.
Mono Tune reacts to the pH of the lips, producing a different color on each person. It features an applicator that spreads the product evenly, and its moisturizing effect lasts for more than 12 hours. The tint will be sold exclusively on Musinsa through October 18, and customers who purchase it will receive a “Matin Kim Chain Lip Holder.”

Musinsa is stepping up its strategy to bring existing fashion customers into the beauty category. From January through August this year, about 83% of first-time Musinsa Beauty customers had previously purchased fashion products on the platform. A collaboration between Sulwhasoo and designer brand Lejeu, launched in May, sold out within 30 minutes of its early release. Sulwhasoo’s transaction volume on the platform also rose about 261% year over year that month.
