Parkers-Alok to Join Song of Skin's LA Pop-Up, Its "Largest Ever"
Alok, a subsidiary of Parkers, will showcase its beauty device SKINMAX at a large-scale K-beauty pop-up in Los Angeles, California. The company plans to raise brand awareness in the U.S. market by expanding its local online and offline distribution channels at the same time.
Parkers announced on October 12 that Alok will participate in the Song of Skin SoS Air pop-up in Los Angeles. It is the largest pop-up event ever held by Song of Skin, with a total of 19 K-beauty brands, including Alok, taking part.
At the event, Alok will introduce SKINMAX, a beauty device that combines electroporation (EP), microcurrent (MC), and LED technology. The device dispenses ampoule directly from the unit when fitted with a dedicated cartridge. According to the company, it delivers active ingredients while providing skincare, without requiring users to apply ampoule to the skin separately.
Alok plans to use the pop-up as an offline touchpoint to introduce its products directly to the U.S. market. While continuing sales through online channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop, the company also plans to expand its offline distribution network through local pop-ups and other venues, giving consumers more opportunities to try its products firsthand.
Song of Skin, which is hosting the event, is a shopping platform that curates and sells K-beauty products to U.S. consumers. Since holding its first pop-up in New York in October 2025, it has continued to hold themed events in New York and Los Angeles. In particular, its "SOS AIR" pop-up in New York in May and June 2026 drew large crowds, with visitors lining up to attend.
Through the Los Angeles pop-up, Alok plans to showcase its beauty device directly at a K-beauty event centered on skincare brands and highlight the product's distinctive competitiveness.
A company representative said, "As this is the largest event Song of Skin has ever held, we expect the pop-up to provide an opportunity to broaden our engagement with local consumers. We will focus on showcasing our beauty device directly at an event centered on skincare brands and highlighting Alok's product competitiveness."
The representative added, "Alongside domestic distribution, we plan to continue expanding our online and offline distribution networks in overseas markets, including the United States, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia."
