ACE BED: "September Heated Mat Sales Up 2.5-Fold Amid Wide Day-Night Temperature Swings"
Orders surge as the day-night temperature gap widens
Single-person models account for a large share of sales
Demand for heated mats is rising as the weather enters the seasonal transition period, when temperatures fluctuate widely between day and night.
ACE BED said on October 12 that sales of its heated mats last month were 2.5 times higher than the previous month, based on an analysis of sales trends. Orders rose notably after mid-September, when the day-night temperature gap widened.
Demand for heated mats is expected to grow further from October, when temperatures begin to fall in earnest. ACE BED's heated mat sales rose approximately 39.2% month over month in November last year, showing a trend of increasing sales as late autumn approached.
This year, sales in September reached their highest level in six months. Sales are expected to continue rising steadily as the cold weather sets in.
By product configuration, single-person models accounted for a large share of sales. This appears to reflect not only growing demand as the number of single-person households increases, but also a consumer trend toward managing sleep temperatures according to individual preferences, even when sharing a living space.
ACE BED's "Doctor's Heated Mat" was developed in collaboration with "Dr. Supply," which has built a reputation in heated products. Designed with a focus on body temperature management, it preserves the mattress's original comfort. Unlike conventional products that use padding and other materials, such as cotton, to conceal the coated heating wires, this mat is approximately 1 mm thick thanks to patented carbon fiber technology.
The temperature can be adjusted to 99 levels using the LCD controller, and the timer can be set in one-hour increments for up to 12 hours. When connected via Bluetooth to the dedicated app, users can set the temperature and timer on their smartphones. The product has completed KC Safety Certification, EMF certification, and EMC certification, as well as radon radiation measurement tests and durability testing at ACE BED's Bed Engineering Research Institute. All products are manufactured in Korea, and when customers submit after-sales service requests, a dedicated hotline provides consultations and support with processing.
