Gangwon State Office of Education to Distribute Its Own CSAT Prep Mock Exam Papers to 90 High Schools
112 Teachers Help Develop Mock Exam Questions Across 12 Subjects
Includes Question Rationales and Solution Processes
The Gangwon State Office of Education said it will distribute its own mock exam papers on October 12 to 90 high schools across the province that requested them, ahead of the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
The Gangwon CSAT-Style Question Analysis Research Group, made up of 112 secondary school teachers from across the province, took part in developing the questions. The teachers began drafting questions in February and completed the papers after residential work sessions and external reviews.
The papers were designed to match the format of the actual CSAT. They cover 12 subjects: Korean, mathematics, English, Korean history, and eight inquiry subjects—Life and Ethics, Korean Geography, East Asian History, Social and Cultural Studies, Physics I, Chemistry I, Life Science I, and Earth Science I.
The answer keys and explanations include the intent behind each question and the solution process, so students can use them for self-directed learning. Schools can use the papers for their own assessments or as class materials, while students can use them to check their learning before the CSAT.
