Baemin Store Holds Discounts on Ingredients and Delivery Supplies for Restaurant Owners
Up to 44% Off Throughout October
Baemin is holding a discount promotion on food ingredients and delivery supplies for small restaurant businesses through the end of this month.
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on October 12 that it is holding the "October Lowest Price Challenge" promotion through October 31 on Baemin Store, its commerce platform for restaurant owners.
The promotion offers discounts on items essential for restaurants. Kitchen staples such as rice, eggs, and cooking oil, as well as delivery supplies including soup containers, ice cups, insulated bags, and plastic bags, are discounted by up to 44%. Customers using Baemin Store for the first time will receive a 20% discount coupon for all products and the opportunity to purchase essential delivery supplies for 100 won.
The "Baemin Partner Special Price" promotion for partners listed on Baemin is also underway. It offers additional discounts on top of Baemin Store's discounted prices, as well as a 5% discount coupon.
Launched in July, Baemin Partner Special Price has received a positive response from listed partners. Sales of the 40 product types featured in the promotion in August and September rose 37% compared with May and June, before the promotion launched, while the number of participating partners who made purchases increased 64%.
The number of products (SKUs) offered in the promotion has also grown from 40 in July to around 140 now. Packaging consumables such as insulated bags and plastic bags, as well as staple ingredients such as rice, have been popular.
