AI Task Force Launched in June; AI Champion Training Gets Underway

Kyowon Group is accelerating its group-wide AI transformation (AX), applying artificial intelligence (AI) across its operations.

Kyowon Group said on October 8 that it is strengthening employees' AI capabilities and gradually building a foundation for applying AI across its operations.

In June, the group launched an AI task force (TF) to identify AI use cases in different business and work areas. Kyowon Group Chairman Jang Pyeong-soon named AI as a key growth strategy for the education business this year and emphasized the need to build educational services and work systems suited to the AI era.

The group provides employees with hands-on AI training and covers subscription fees for AI services needed for their work. In the second half of the year, it plans to select “AI champions” to lead AX efforts in each organization and run a specialized development program for them. The group is also considering introducing support measures and incentives to share successful examples of AI use across the company and encourage employees to participate voluntarily.

A Kyowon Group representative said, “Our goal is not to treat the use of AI as a one-off initiative, but to make it a natural part of how our employees work.”
