Daishin Asset Trust Applies for Project Implementer Designation for Banghak Sindonga Complex 1 Reconstruction
Daishin Asset Trust, an affiliate of Daishin Securities, has applied to be designated as the project implementer for the reconstruction of Banghak Sindonga Complex 1.
According to Daishin Asset Trust on October 8, the application is a follow-up step to establish the project framework after the designation of the redevelopment zone. After being designated as the project implementer, the company plans to proceed in stages with the procedures required for reconstruction, including obtaining permits and approvals.
Banghak Sindonga Complex 1 is an apartment complex with a total of 3,169 households in Banghak-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul. Reconstruction is currently being pursued under a trust-based model, and the complex completed the designation and public notice of its reconstruction zone in October 2025. Under the redevelopment plan, it is set to become a new residential complex with 4,099 households, comprising buildings with four basement levels and 47 above-ground floors.

"Banghak Sindonga Complex 1 is a large-scale reconstruction project of great significance for improving the residential environment in Dobong-gu and northern Seoul," said Kim Songgyu, CEO of Daishin Asset Trust. "We will communicate closely with residents and manage the permitting and approval process systematically to ensure the project moves forward smoothly."
