The participating companies presented their core technologies, business models and plans for global expansion to investors as they sought to attract investment.
The event featured IR presentations by the five participating companies, success stories shared by established startups, and a mock investment exercise involving visitors and professional investors. In the mock investment exercise, virtual investment funds were allocated in different amounts to general visitors and professional investors, including venture capital firms (VCs) and accelerators (ACs), who then invested in the participating companies. Professional investors also provided their views on each company, giving participants a direct opportunity to gauge market reactions and investor assessments.
KIBO will also provide follow-up support to ensure the IR session leads to tangible investment and growth rather than remaining a one-off event. It will consider providing guarantees and investment support to participating companies that meet the eligibility requirements. For companies pursuing global expansion, KIBO will also consider overseas expansion guarantees to cover expenses such as the establishment and operation of overseas subsidiaries.
