Training to be held on October 28 at Korea Nazarene University... Limited to the first 30 applicants

The Support Center for Disabled-Owned Businesses announced on October 8 that it is recruiting participants for the “2026 2nd Startup Preparation Academy for People with Disabilities” to strengthen the startup preparation skills of prospective entrepreneurs with disabilities and support their participation in startup support programs in 2027.

The training is designed to help people with disabilities who are preparing to start a business understand the purpose and evaluation criteria of startup support programs and write their own business plans. Anyone with a disability who is interested in starting a business may participate.

The training will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on October 28 at Korea Nazarene University in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, for a total of 6 hours and 30 minutes. It will cover four areas: ▲understanding the Center’s startup support programs and application strategies ▲using generative artificial intelligence (AI) to write a business plan ▲the government’s standard business plan structure and how to complete each section ▲promotional strategies for business plans.

The generative AI training will cover how to design prompts suited to a startup idea and the purpose of a business plan, as well as strategies for improving the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.

The training will also teach participants how to write a business plan based on “PSST (Problem, Solution, Scale-up, Team),” a framework used in government and private-sector startup support programs. Participants will learn to connect customer problems and solutions, market-entry strategies, and the founder’s capabilities in their plans. Marketing strategies will also be covered, including defining target customers, developing differentiated promotional plans, using online and offline promotional channels, and reviewing successful early-stage startups.

Training is free, and lunch will be provided. Enrollment is limited to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be submitted through the offline training section of Changupnet, the comprehensive startup platform for people with disabilities, or by phone by 6 p.m. on October 21.

Park Maru, chairman of the Support Center for Disabled-Owned Businesses, said, “We will continue to expand practical training and support to strengthen the startup capabilities of people with disabilities and help them achieve stable economic activity.”
