The exhibition introduces King Jeongjo's military rites through two historical documents and one immersive video. Military rites were one of the Five Rites of the Joseon Dynasty and included military formation drills, troop reviews and archery.
The documents are the "Wonhaeng Eulmyo Jeongni Uigwe," which records the procedures for King Jeongjo's 1795 visit to Hwaseong, military training at Seojangdae and archery at Deukjungjeong, and the "Hwaseong Seongyeok Uigwe," which covers the construction of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress from 1793 to 1797.

The digital immersive video "Immersive Uigwe: Military Rites—Military Review" was produced by the Korea Heritage Agency. Based on the "Dongjangdae Siyeoldo" and "Yeongeodo" in the "Jeongni Uigwe," written in Korean, it recreates the royal procession and military training. The video shows the clothing and ceremonial procedures, troop formations in motion and military signals depicted in the Uigwe.
