The Korea Local Finance Association announced on October 7 that it will hold the 2026 2nd Outdoor Advertising Research Forum at 2 p.m. on November 3 in the education hall of the Local Finance Hall.

Held annually since 2021, the research forum has adopted “Innovation and Coexistence, and Mutual Prosperity: Seeking a Path to Sustainable Outdoor Advertising” as this year’s main theme. Industry representatives, academics and local governments will review the achievements of the Digital Media Belt and discuss ways to strengthen the competitiveness of fund advertising projects and the social value of landscape improvement projects.

Presentations and discussions will cover three themes. Lee Juyeol, team leader of media business at All Is Well, will present on “The City’s Canvas: The Present and Future of the Digital Media Belt.”

Jeon Hyegyeong, deputy director of the Research and Survey Department at the Korea Local Finance Association, will address “Mutual Prosperity and Innovation: A Mid- to Long-Term Coexistence Strategy for Analog and Digital Fund Advertising,” while Lee Miseon, senior researcher in the Landscape Improvement Department at the Korea Local Finance Association, will discuss “Recreating Spaces: The Social Value and Sustainability of Landscape Improvement Projects.”

At the forum, the Korea Local Finance Association plans to share the achievements of the Digital Media Belt and landscape improvement projects, and explore ways for analog and digital fund advertising projects to enhance their competitiveness together.

Jeong Seonyong, chairman of the Korea Local Finance Association, said, “I hope this forum will be a meaningful opportunity for the industry, academia and local governments to discuss mutual prosperity and innovation, as well as the social value and sustainability of the Korea Local Finance Association’s outdoor advertising projects.”
