Korea Housing Finance Corporation Provides "Clean Homes" to 270 Vulnerable Households
Supporting Cleaning and Disinfection Services
Promoting Mutual Growth in the Community
A community support initiative that both improves housing conditions for vulnerable groups and provides jobs to self-support workers will continue in Busan this year.
The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 7th that it had delivered a donation for the "HF Clean House" initiative to the Busan Community Chest of Korea on the 6th, aimed at improving the housing environment for vulnerable populations in Busan.
"HF Clean House" is a project in which self-support workers, including basic livelihood security recipients who wish to work, provide cleaning and disinfection services for vulnerable groups to help enhance their housing conditions.
The corporation, together with the Busan Community Chest of Korea and the Busan Regional Self-Support Center Association, plans to carry out cleaning and disinfection work for 270 households in vulnerable communities across Busan. The donation delivered by the corporation will be used to pay the wages of the self-support workers participating in this project.
Through this initiative, the corporation aims to offer a pleasant living environment to vulnerable groups and at the same time provide jobs to those seeking self-reliance, thereby promoting both housing welfare and self-support.
Kyunghwan Kim, President of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation, stated, "I am delighted that we can offer a comfortable home to those in need and provide work opportunities to those hoping for self-reliance," adding, "We will continue to pursue social contribution activities to foster co-prosperity with the local community."
