Aegis Asset Management's Twin Tree Tower Ranks First in Asia Mixed Use Category in Global ESG Evaluation
Major real asset holdings managed by Aegis Asset Management have received the highest ratings in global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluations. In particular, its flagship asset, Twin Tree Tower, achieved first place in its category in the Asia region.
On October 7, Aegis Asset Management announced that the fund managing Twin Tree Tower (Junghak-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul) ranked first in the “Asia Mixed Use” category in the 2026 GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark). This asset earned the highest “5 Star” rating—awarded only to the top 20%—for the fourth consecutive year. Twin Tree Tower is owned by the Aegis Value Plus REIT.
GRESB is an international benchmark that evaluates and publishes the sustainability of real assets—such as real estate and infrastructure—each year. The top 20% receive the “5 Star” rating based on a relative assessment system. Global institutional investors use these results as a key criterion in real estate investment decisions.
All four Aegis Asset Management funds participating in this year’s evaluation received the top “5 Star” rating. The Autoway Tower (Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul) fund has maintained its 5 Star status for nine consecutive years, and the Centerfield (Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul) fund received 5 Stars for four consecutive years. The One Grove (Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul) fund, which participated in the evaluation for the first time this year, also earned a 5 Star rating on its first attempt and acquired the “Arc Performance Certificate.”
Twin Tree Tower improved its operational performance by reducing energy consumption. Its curved façade and horizontal band design block solar radiation while allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the interior. The building is also equipped with a smart energy management system and rooftop solar power generation facilities.
Aegis Asset Management has established its own ESG integrated platform, the “ESG Hub System,” to manage ESG data for its assets. The company unified data that had previously been collected separately by asset and standardized the entire process from collection to verification and analysis on a single platform. As of the end of last year, the company had acquired ESG data for approximately 84% of domestic fund-owned real assets.

A representative from Aegis Asset Management said, “The fact that all four funds participating in the evaluation received the highest grade and that Twin Tree Tower ranked first in Asia in the mixed-use category is the result of our ongoing management of operational data, such as energy and water resources. We will continue to enhance our level of environmental management across all managed assets by utilizing data-driven asset management.”
