Paris Baguette's "Paran Label" Enters Global Market with Sales at All Singapore Stores
Halal Certification Achieved Across All Singapore Stores
Paris Baguette's "PARAN LABEL" has launched sales at all of its stores in Singapore, marking its entry into the global market. PARAN LABEL is a healthy bakery brand that Paris Baguette introduced in South Korea in February of last year.
Paris Baguette announced on October 7 that, after making its overseas debut at the Paragon branch in Singapore this February, it has recently expanded the availability of PARAN LABEL products to all 28 stores in Singapore, taking a full-scale approach to the market. Currently, seven PARAN LABEL items, including five types of bread and two types of sandwiches, are being sold.
Following the expansion to all stores in Singapore, PARAN LABEL has quickly shown strong sales performance. The average 30-day sales in the bread category have increased by 57% compared to the average from May to July before the expansion. The sandwich and salad categories have also grown by 10%.
PARKAN LABEL’s positive response in Singapore can be attributed to effectively meeting local consumers’ demand for healthier eating options while also emphasizing taste and convenience. By offering not only bread but also sandwiches and salads that can serve as wholesome meals, the brand has positioned itself as a suitable choice for everyday dining, which has been well-received.
The halal certification at all Singapore stores has also strengthened PARAN LABEL's local competitiveness. This year, Paris Baguette obtained MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura) halal certification for all 28 locations in Singapore. By applying halal standards across all products handled and prepared in-store, the company has laid the foundation for a broad customer base, including Muslim consumers, to experience PARAN LABEL.
Paris Baguette is carrying the growing interest in K-culture—spread throughout Southeast Asia by K-pop and K-dramas—over to K-bakery. In Singapore, Paris Baguette uses the Korean-language brand name "PARAN LABEL" as is, emphasizing its Korean identity and expanding its connection with local consumers who are interested in Korean culture.
