NMG Signs Official Partnership with 'Gamesight'
FSN's subsidiary, Next Media Group (NMG), has entered into an official partnership with 'Gamesight'.
According to NMG on October 7, through this partnership, the company plans to supply the world's leading attribution solution to Korean game companies in earnest, and provide more advanced integrated marketing services to those preparing for overseas expansion. As a result, FSN Group expects to further strengthen its service competitiveness in the field of game marketing.
Unlike mobile games, PC·console games make it difficult to track the user journey from ad exposure through to purchase and installation due to the platform structure of services like Steam. This has limited marketers' ability to accurately estimate campaign performance. Gamesight addresses these limitations with its PC·console-specialized attribution solution, which is currently used by 17 of the top 25 global PC·console game companies.
NMG plans to provide close support for Korean game companies throughout the entire process, from campaign planning and setup to performance analysis, so that they can utilize this data-driven solution in practice. This will allow Korean game companies to measure the performance of their PC·console marketing based on data and optimize their media budget accordingly. In addition, leveraging its understanding of the Korean market, NMG will offer integrated campaign management services that connect domestic and overseas marketing efforts for game companies preparing for a global simultaneous launch via Steam.
Minhyuk Yoon, CEO of NMG, stated, "By combining NMG's accumulated know-how in Steam and PC game marketing with Gamesight's attribution solution, we aim to address the challenges Korean developers and publishers face in measuring performance when expanding abroad. Through this partnership, we will become a core marketing partner that helps Korean game companies establish a foothold in the global market."
