The footage showed an emergency situation that took place last month on a city bus passing by Jinnam Elementary School in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam.
In the video, a student identified as A, seated at the back of the bus, is seen quickly noticing that a nearby passenger was showing abnormal symptoms and immediately came over to check on them. At that time, the passenger's head had tilted back and they were breathing heavily. A checked the passenger's chest for a response and promptly informed the bus driver of the emergency.
Together with the driver, A moved the passenger to the floor and continued performing CPR until paramedics arrived.

The passenger, having received A's emergency care, was later taken over by paramedics. After receiving treatment with an automated external defibrillator (AED), the passenger's pulse was restored, and they were transported to the hospital. The passenger subsequently underwent surgery for myocardial infarction and is now reported to be recovering. Initial emergency treatment for cardiac arrest patients is crucial, as it determines not only survival but also the possibility of brain damage.

A's father stated, "In a situation that would understandably make anyone panic, my son first checked the patient's condition, notified the driver, and personally performed CPR—I'm truly proud of his actions." He added, "I hope that this incident doesn't just end as a heartwarming story, but serves as a reminder that anyone might face an emergency, and that quick reporting and CPR in those moments are critically important."
