Korea Venture Investment Partners with Amorepacific to Foster K-Beauty Companies
Korea Venture Investment and Amorepacific Group Sign Agreement on October 2
Aiming to Strengthen Open Innovation Ecosystem
Korea Venture Investment announced on October 2, 2026, that it has signed a business agreement with Amorepacific Group to foster K-beauty companies and promote the open innovation ecosystem.
The agreement is designed to discover and nurture promising K-beauty companies, and to encourage strategic investments from large and mid-sized corporations (open innovation), thereby promoting the inflow of industrial capital into the venture investment ecosystem. The aim is to activate an open innovation ecosystem between large/mid-sized companies and ventures/start-ups.
Through the agreement, the two organizations will promote cooperation in open innovation, recommend investment targets, review co-investment opportunities in promising companies, and provide incentives. In June of this year, they also jointly invested in an indie beauty brand company in which Amorepacific Group had invested and co-developed new products via the open innovation venture fund.
