Following Olive Young, Timefolio Also Invests: HEVEBLUE Attracts 4 Billion Won, Reaching a Valuation of Approximately 55 Billion Won
Following Olive Young, Timefolio Asset Management has also invested in HEVEBLUE. Cosmento Korea, the operator of HEVEBLUE, attracted a 4 billion won investment from Timefolio Asset Management at the end of August, recognizing a corporate value of approximately 55 billion won. This achievement was made in about three years since its foundation.
Olive Young was first, investing a total of 1 billion won in two rounds to secure about a 7% stake in Cosmento Korea. As a result, HEVEBLUE, the sensitive-skin specialized skincare brand, became the first base skincare brand in which Olive Young has invested. According to the company, this is also the first time Timefolio Asset Management has invested in a beauty brand.
On the product side, HEVEBLUE discloses by product both its core ingredients and those present at concentrations above 1,000ppm. The company has partnered with the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences to develop proprietary ingredients and has obtained patents, while also conducting its own research and development.
The company is also linking its competitive advantage in product development to business initiatives in actual sales markets.
Overseas sales channels have expanded as well. HEVEBLUE achieved sales of over 100 million won within three months of launching on Amazon in the United States, and among around 400 new brands entering Amazon in less than a year, it ranked first in annual sales. In the first week of September, the brand entered both online and offline stores of the U.S. Sephora simultaneously. Currently, domestic and overseas sales account for about half each.
Cosmento Korea was incorporated in July 2023. The company recorded sales of about 7.2 billion won in 2024 and about 12 billion won in 2025, maintaining an operating margin of about 10% and achieving a surplus in both years. The sales target for this year is 30 billion won, and 60 billion won for next year.
