Crit Ventures Invests in JDragon Games, Founded by Former 'Odin' Development Team
Development of "Project D" Set in an Authentic Medieval Fantasy World
Venture capital firm Crit Ventures announced on October 2, 2026, that it has invested in MMORPG developer JDragon Games together with Main Street Ventures and others.
JDragon Games is a game company established in June 2026 by key personnel who previously participated in the development of leading domestic MMORPGs such as Lost Ark and Night Crows, including CEO Lee Junseok, former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Lionheart Studio, the developer of "Odin: Valhalla Rising." The company is currently developing its cross-platform MMORPG, "Project D," which supports both PC and mobile gameplay.
Set in an authentic medieval fantasy world, Project D offers a differentiated MMORPG experience through gameplay elements such as: moving-action combat that allows attack while moving; rune-based skill and appearance customization; and taming features that let players utilize collected monsters as pets or mounts. The game will also include large-scale player-versus-player (PvP) battles and competitive content such as guild wars and conquest wars.
Crit Ventures stated that it decided on this investment after highly evaluating JDragon Games' MMORPG development and service capabilities and live service experience. Leveraging the new investment, JDragon Games plans to accelerate the development of Project D. The company aims to expand its development team, complete Project D by the year after next, and target the Asia-Pacific market—starting with Korea and Taiwan.
Lee Junseok, CEO of JDragon Games, commented, "We will continue to launch high-quality, gameplay-driven titles including Project D, and grow into a specialized MMORPG development studio."
