Unlike the previous documentaries, which were composed of several episodes, the latest film has been produced as a single feature. Adopting a “movietized” style that adds cinematic touches to the narrative of Korea Competition’s challenge, it enhances viewers’ immersion.
The film depicts a continuous narrative of crisis, choice, and overcoming obstacles in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, vividly capturing the tension and moments of challenge at the racetrack. Centered around the value of "trust and safety," it also highlights the technology of its core affiliate, Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd. (Hankook Tire).
The Nürburgring 24 Hours is one of the world’s top endurance races, where competitors race for 24 hours on a track about 25 kilometers long with over 170 corners, steep elevation changes, and unpredictable weather conditions.
In its third appearance this year, Korea Competition successfully finished for a third consecutive year. The team’s entry, a Porsche 992 GT3 R, was equipped with Hankook Tire’s high-performance racing tire "Ventus," which delivered stable grip and durability even in extreme driving conditions.
"The First 4" will be released simultaneously on Hankook Tire’s domestic and global YouTube channels as well as the OTT platform Tving.
