Huons' Two Novel Drug Candidates Selected as LBAs at Global Conferences
Nonclinical Results for Gastrointestinal and Oral Obesity Drug Candidates
To Be Presented at UEG Week in Europe and Obesity Week in the United States
Huons will present the results of nonclinical studies on its self-developed novel drug candidates at major global conferences in the second half of this year.
On October 2, Huons announced that two nonclinical research results for novel drug candidates currently under its own development have each been selected as Late-Breaking Abstracts (LBA).
An LBA is a special presentation session designed to share innovative, cutting-edge research findings expected to have significant academic impact. At 'UEG Week 2026,' Huons’ candidate for gastrointestinal disorders has been selected as an LBA. Separately, its obesity treatment candidate was selected as an LBA for 'Obesity Week 2026.'
From October 17 to 20, at 'UEG Week 2026,' the United European Gastroenterology Week, Huons will present the nonclinical research results of its first-in-class novel drug candidate currently in development for gastrointestinal diseases.
From November 14 to 17, at 'Obesity Week 2026' held in the United States, Huons will announce the nonclinical research results of its next-generation oral obesity treatment candidate currently in development. Huons is developing this candidate with the aim of offering a differentiated and new therapeutic strategy compared to existing obesity treatments. Its selection as an LBA highlights its major nonclinical achievements, which will be released at the conference.
