The Era of Window Replacement "Research"... Surge in Online Estimates and Consultations
E-Max Club Membership Grows 21-Fold for KCC
Online Quote Requests Also Up 57%
An increasing number of consumers seeking to replace old windows are turning to online platforms to research products and installation options, as well as compare estimates. Especially during the peak fall season for interior renovations, with greater demand for window replacements aimed at enhancing insulation and saving on heating costs for winter, online channels have emerged as major points for consultation and sales.

The average monthly membership growth rate has reached 29%. During the spring moving season in April and May this year, visits to the site soared by more than 370% compared to the previous month. This surge reflects the significant rise in consumers utilizing online channels to look up window products and installation information during periods of heightened demand for interior and remodeling work, including window replacements. The resumption of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Green Remodeling Support Program after three years enabled consumers to receive low-interest financial support for replacing old windows. Additional factors such as real estate regulations have led to increased demand from residents choosing to remodel their current homes instead of moving.
Requests for quotes through the E-Max Club website have also increased, up 57% compared to the initial launch period. The Smart Quote System allows customers to compare prices and receive consultations without having to visit multiple dealerships. By entering details such as the area to be renovated and the preferred installation schedule, dealerships can provide online estimates, enabling consumers to select a business that best meets their criteria.
KCC is expanding touchpoints that connect information research with consultations and contracts, keeping pace with the trend of consumers searching for interior design information online. Window installation cases provide details on housing types, budgets, space dimensions, and installation expenses. Consumers can also review the specific window or glass products used in spaces such as living rooms, balconies, and bedrooms.

KCC supplies window raw materials (profiles) and manages dealership service quality through its window installation certification system. The 'E-Max Club' certification is granted to dealerships that use genuine raw and subsidiary materials, have completed the required training, provide after-sales service, and meet installation standards. Of roughly 800 dealerships nationwide, there are currently 183 E-Max Club members. Dealerships are certified in four grades—Platinum Plus, Platinum, Star Plus, and Star—based on evaluations, with regular re-evaluations required to renew certification.
