On October 1, affiliates of Hanwha Group in the defense and energy sectors announced their regular executive appointments.
Hanwha Aerospace appointed 16 new executives. According to the company, the newly selected executives possess business expertise and technical capabilities necessary for executing global business expansion and localization strategies.
Hanwha Systems promoted five individuals to executive level positions. The appointees were chosen for their ability to lead future growth initiatives, including global market expansion and the advancement of artificial intelligence transformation (AX) businesses.
Hanwha Solutions and its subsidiary, Hanwha Advanced Materials, appointed a total of 10 new executives—9 and 1 respectively. Of these, 6 were born in the 1980s. The company stated that these appointments reflect a performance-based principle that values business achievements, expertise, and growth potential over age or years of experience.
In the energy sector, a total of seven new executives were appointed, including three at Hanwha Energy, one at Hanwha TotalEnergies, two at Hanwha Power, and one at Hanwha Engine.
Hanwha stated that it plans to accelerate global business expansion and secure future growth engines by fast-tracking field-proven talent into key executive roles.
