KGM Sells 8,863 Vehicles in September...Exports Surpass 6,000 Units for First Time in Three Months
Expanding Targeting of Emerging Markets Through KD Business
KG Mobility (KGM) announced on October 1 that it sold a total of 8,863 vehicles in September, including 2,100 units in the domestic market and 6,763 units for export.
Exports increased to countries such as Türkiye, Germany, and Hungary, surpassing 6,000 units for the first time in three months since June of last year (8,345 units), and representing a 3.5% increase compared to the same month last year.
By model, more than 1,000 units were sold for each of Torres EVX (1,930 units), Musso EV (1,117 units), as well as Musso (1,597 units), including both electric and internal combustion vehicles.
To expand export volume, KGM has been aggressively targeting new markets, entering the KD (knockdown) business in Ethiopia in September following Myanmar in August.

A KGM official stated, "Thanks to the increase in export volume, sales rose compared to the previous month, showing signs of recovery." The official added, "We plan to further increase sales by strengthening our strategy for emerging markets such as the KD business to expand global sales, as well as enhancing our response to the domestic market through the provision of various financial and purchase incentives."
