Recruiting Talent in Disaster Prevention, Insurance, Public Relations, AI, and Data Fields
The Korea Fire Protection Association announced on October 1, 2026, that it will conduct an open recruitment for both entry-level and experienced positions for 2026.
According to the association, this recruitment drive focuses on securing professionals who will expand the organization's future risk management capabilities based on artificial intelligence (AI) and data, under its new vision, "Protecting the Future of the People," and aims to grow into an intelligent, comprehensive risk management institution.
The positions available include existing specialties such as disaster prevention test research, public relations, insurance, disaster prevention consulting, and fire safety research, as well as roles in AI and data fields, such as AI engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and platform developers. In particular, the association plans to secure specialists who can integrate generative AI and data analysis technologies into fire risk analysis and prevention work, thereby strengthening its intelligent disaster prevention capabilities by combining expertise in fire safety and disaster prevention with digital technology.
The recruitment process consists of application submission, document screening, online assessment, and interviews, after which successful candidates will be selected. Applications are open until the 18th, and detailed information on qualification requirements and preferential considerations for each field is available on the Korea Fire Protection Association’s website.
An association official stated, "As fire and disaster risks become more complex and diverse and the use of AI and data continues to expand, new specialized skills are becoming increasingly important in the disaster prevention field," adding, "We hope that many talented future professionals, who will protect the future of the people based on expertise in the fire safety field and digital competency, will show great interest and apply."
