Strengthening Risk Assessment and Internal Audit Management
LS has taken steps to establish an ethical and compliance management system across the entire group. On the 30th of last month, LS announced on October 1 that it has received integrated certification for the 'Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001)' and the 'Compliance Management System (ISO 37301)' from the Korea Compliance Standards Institute, as established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The ISO 37001 and ISO 37301 certifications acquired by LS are international standards that assess whether companies have adopted anti-bribery and compliance criteria set by the ISO into their management frameworks, and whether these frameworks are being operated and managed in a consistent and systematic way.
Based on these certifications, LS plans to proactively respond to both domestic and international evaluations of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), enhance its corporate value, and continuously strengthen its group-wide commitment to ethical management.
Under the leadership of Vice Chairman Myung, LS has continuously strengthened its compliance management structure across the group. In preparation for obtaining these integrated certifications, LS undertook a comprehensive overhaul of its group-wide compliance system over the past several months. As a result, LS established a management system in line with global guidelines, including ▲ the establishment of anti-bribery and compliance policies, ▲ risk assessment and improvement measures, ▲ the introduction of monitoring and internal audit procedures, and ▲ employee compliance training and the development of internal auditors.
Following the adoption of relevant standards by key affiliates such as LS Cable, LS ELECTRIC, and INVENI, LS itself has now obtained integrated certification. As a result, the foundation for the group-wide adoption of compliance management is expected to be further strengthened.
