Emart and Hyundai Card Open Pre-Registration for "Wine Grab Festa" Starting October 2
Wine and Whisky Tastings Featuring Over 30 Varieties
Experience Events Including Talk Concerts
Emart announced on the 1st that it will co-host the “WineGrab Festa” with Hyundai Card from October 16 to 18 in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event offers tastings of around 30 different alcoholic beverages, including wine and whisky, along with performances and talk concerts. Pre-registration for participation will be available starting October 2 via the Emart application (app).
The event will be held at the Hyundai Card Cooking Library, located near Dosan Park in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At this culinary complex—which features a restaurant, library, and kitchen—visitors can participate in wine and whisky tasting sessions as well as a wide array of experiential programs.
Alcoholic beverages sampled at the event can be ordered through Emart app’s liquor ordering service, “WineGrab,” and picked up at Emart or Traders stores. For select items, special discounted prices will be offered when making payment with a Hyundai Card. Visitors will also receive a limited-edition reusable bag containing hangover relief products, chocolates, and more.
The event will also feature a performance by jazz artist Luca Minor, a DJ set by Electron Man, and a talk concert with composer Kim Hyungseok and singer Hanhae. Advance reservations will be accepted during two periods: October 2–5 and October 7–14. Participants can select the desired date, time, and number of attendees through the Emart app. Reservation requires adult verification, and a valid ID must be presented upon entry.
First launched in 2019, WineGrab was revamped last November to integrate ratings from wine review platform Vivino and expanded its product selection to include sake and baijiu. According to Emart, sales have tripled year-on-year between the relaunch and August of this year. As of the end of last month, cumulative users this year surpassed 600,000, with users in their 20s increasing by 1.5 times.
