Gyeongnam Dongbu Veterans Office Holds Korean War Fallen Soldiers Ceremonial Plaque Presentation
An event was held in Changwon, Gyeongnam Province to honor the noble sacrifice and contributions of the fallen soldiers in the Korean War and to express deep respect and gratitude to their families.
On September 30, the Gyeongnam Dongbu Office of Veterans Affairs hosted the '6·25 War Fallen Soldiers Ceremonial Plaque Presentation' at the Changwon Convention Center.

View original imageAttendees included Park Il-woong, Vice Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do; Lee Sang-deok, Head of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korean War Fallen Soldiers’ Families Association; Lee Tae-sook, Head of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korean War Fallen Soldiers’ Widows Association; Ha Jin-pyo, Director of the Korean War Fallen Soldiers’ Families Association; and Kim Ji-hyun, Director of the Gyeongnam Seobu Veterans Office, who all graced the event with their presence.
The ceremony solemnly and meaningfully presented ceremonial plaques from the Vice Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do to the families of 41 fallen Korean War soldiers.
