Innovative Startups, Investors, and Large Corporations Gather for "Gyeonggi Startup Summit" on October 14-15
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator will host the "2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)" at Suwon Convention Center for two days from October 14 to 15.
The Gyeonggi Startup Summit, launched in 2024, is a global startup business platform that has served as a practical bridge connecting innovative startups with domestic and international investors as well as large and mid-sized companies.
This year, more than 160 domestic and international investors will take part, holding 480 one-on-one investment meetings (meetups) and running open innovation strategies with large and mid-sized companies to provide opportunities for startups to attract investment and foster business collaborations.
The exhibition hall will feature 156 startups showcasing their technologies and products across diverse fields, including artificial intelligence and semiconductors, robotics, biotechnology, and climate technology. Investor relations (IR) sessions and pitching competitions designed to support startups' fundraising and business expansion will be held throughout the venue. Startups will have chances to secure investments through events including the G-Star Audition finals, pet business startup contest finals, and the Pangyo Investment Networking IR session.
Notable speakers will include Nokwon Kim, CEO of the Gyeonggi-based physical AI semiconductor company DEEPX, Jaeseung Jeong, a professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) who has contributed to the field of brain engineering, and Reza Khaj, Investment Director at Plug and Play, the world’s largest startup accelerator. In addition to their presentations, conferences will feature domestic and international experts discussing topics such as technological innovation, startup growth, investment, and global market entry.
Through a stamp tour on-site event, visitors will be able to enjoy free drinks served by robot baristas at an unmanned robot cafe, adding a fun and interactive element to the exhibition experience. A recruitment lounge, along with lectures for attendees interested in startup recruitment, will also be available for consultations.
Prior to the main event, two "G-SUMMIT Invest Connect" pre-event programs were held, during which 70 startups held more than 180 one-on-one investment and collaboration meetings with domestic and international investors and large and mid-sized companies. The cooperation opportunities discovered during these sessions will be followed up after the main event, with the goal of expanding into substantial investments and business partnerships.
