Both companies aim to go beyond product sales by providing a differentiated brand experience across all customer touchpoints, including stores, services, and marketing.
Lotte Duty Free will expand the SK-II store at its Myeongdong main branch and operate a 'Skin Ceremony Table' where customers can receive consultations and product recommendations tailored to their individual skin conditions and concerns. At its Incheon Airport location, a gift-wrapping service featuring customized initials and ribbons will be introduced. In the first half of next year, an event will be held at the Myeongdong main branch where VIP customers will be invited to participate in special sessions with SK-II skincare experts.
Earlier, in February, Lotte Duty Free also hosted a beauty class for VIP customers, which combined an introduction of new products with hand massage experiences.
Kim Dongha, CEO of Lotte Duty Free, stated, "This business agreement serves as an opportunity to further strengthen Lotte Duty Free's global brand network and expertise in beauty retail. We will continue to enhance our duty-free competitiveness by providing differentiated products and customer experiences through close partnerships with global brands."
Lee Sugyeong, President of P&G Global Skincare Division, commented, "This partnership with Lotte Duty Free is a meaningful collaboration that demonstrates SK-II's ongoing efforts and vision to deliver differentiated experiences to consumers in the duty-free channel."
