KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 29th that it signed a 'Strategic Business Agreement (MOU) for Innovation in Cross-Border Digital Asset Payment and Remittance Services' with BNY Mellon on the 28th.

The signing ceremony was attended by KiHyun Baek, Head of Foreign Exchange Business at KB Kookmin Bank, Jennifer Barker, Global Head of Payments and Trade Finance at BNY, and other officials from both companies.
Through this partnership, the two banks will strengthen overseas remittance services for foreign customers. KB Kookmin Bank plans to utilize BNY's global payments network and 'Pay to Wallet' capabilities to provide tailored international remittance services for foreign nationals and international students.
