The annual production capacity stands at 4,700 tons of semiconductor-grade polysilicon and 25,000 tons of phosphoric acid. In response to increasing semiconductor demand, OCI is undertaking expansion to increase phosphoric acid production capacity to 30,000 tons per year.

At the Iksan plant, OCI manufactures hydrogen peroxide, a material used in semiconductor cleaning and etching processes. OCI began commercial production of hydrogen peroxide at the Iksan plant in 1979, and has since grown to become the second largest hydrogen peroxide producer in Korea.

OCI stated it plans to continuously strengthen its business competitiveness by developing new semiconductor materials such as specialty etchants and through its wafer regeneration business for semiconductor packaging.
