'ACE US NASDAQ100' ETF Surpasses 500 Billion Won in Net Individual Purchases This Year
1-Year and 3-Year Returns at 19.56% and 108.17%
Diversified Investment in Global Technology Stocks Possible
Korea Investment Management announced on September 29 that the cumulative net purchases by individual investors in the 'ACE US NASDAQ100' Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) have surpassed 500 billion won since the beginning of the year.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of the previous day, the cumulative net purchases by individuals in the ACE US NASDAQ100 ETF amounted to 509.7 billion won. The ETF has posted returns of 15.33% over six months, 19.56% over one year, and a three-year return of 108.17%. Its net assets total 3.6098 trillion won.
Despite the recent volatility in the US stock market, the continued influx of funds from individual investors can be attributed to their desire to invest in leading US technology stocks with high long-term growth potential. The ACE US NASDAQ100 ETF tracks the 'NASDAQ 100 Index,' which represents the US Nasdaq market. The NASDAQ 100 Index is comprised of the 100 largest non-financial companies by market capitalization listed on the Nasdaq, allowing investors to diversify into global technology and growth leaders such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, and Meta.
In particular, as global technological industries continue to show strong growth prospects centered around artificial intelligence (AI), interest in the NASDAQ 100 Index among domestic investors remains high. Investors can also use long-term investment accounts such as pension savings and retirement pensions to systematically invest in leading US growth companies.
