LG Electronics Unveils Total AIDC Solution in Singapore...NVIDIA-Certified CDU Launched
Participation in "DCWA 2026" in Singapore
First Reveal of Prefabricated "Hydronic Modular" Solution
LG Electronics is expanding its business domain beyond cooling technology to become a comprehensive ‘AI Infrastructure Partner,’ embracing the entire process of design, construction, and operation of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers (AIDC).
On September 29, at “Data Center World Asia (DCWA) 2026,” Asia’s largest data center exhibition held in Singapore, LG Electronics unveiled its total solution—integrating thermal management, power, and operational infrastructure support for data centers.

By connecting the chiller unit and container modules on-site, much like assembling blocks, this solution significantly reduces both data center construction time and initial investment costs, while enabling rapid capacity expansion to accommodate future AI server upgrades.
Alongside this, LG Electronics displayed a comprehensive lineup of optimized, high-efficiency equipment, including air-cooled oil-free inverter turbo chillers featuring magnetic bearing-based oil-free compressors and refrigerant free-cooling technology, as well as fan wall units (FWU) that deliver uniform cooling performance even in high-heat environments.
The exhibition also featured liquid cooling solutions designed for high-density AI servers. LG Electronics presented a full lineup of cooling water distribution units (CDUs)—from 600kW to 1MW, and up to 2.6MW—all certified to NVIDIA quality standards, and is accelerating the development of next-generation immersion cooling solutions.
The CDU is a core component of liquid cooling systems, precisely circulating coolant through cold plates that contact the key chipsets of high-performance AI servers to efficiently absorb and recover heat. From large-scale chillers that generate chilled water, to CDUs and cold plates, LG Electronics has established its "chip-to-chiller" system, building a portfolio that covers the entire thermal management cycle of AI data centers.
With its “One LG” integrated solution, which brings together the group’s core competencies, LG Electronics is ramping up its push into the global market. By combining LG Electronics’ cooling technology with battery solutions from LG Energy Solution and prefab modular data centers (PMDC) and ‘AI Factory Full Stack’ service capabilities from LG CNS, the company aims to deliver differentiated value across every stage—from design and construction to operation and expansion.
