Icecream Media announced on the 28th that it proposed strategies for educational cooperation combining Korea's educational experience and artificial intelligence (AI) technology at the 'International Parliamentarians for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) Latin America-Caribbean Regional Meeting' held in Asuncion, Paraguay on the 23rd (local time).
The meeting, held from the 23rd to the 24th at the National Congress of Paraguay, was themed 'Artificial Intelligence for Peace: Education, Tolerance, and Inclusion for the Future of Latin America and the Caribbean.' View original imageIn his keynote, CEO Hyun discussed how Korea's ongoing investments in education have supported talent development and economic and social progress, emphasizing the importance of institutional foundations to sustain this over the long term. He further explained that even in the AI era, teachers' expertise and judgment should remain at the core of education, with technology supporting teachers so they can focus more on student guidance and communication.
During the subsequent Q&A session, participants exchanged opinions on Korea's educational finance structure, investment priorities under limited budgets, and ways to introduce AI education tailored to the circumstances of each country.
