View original imageComposed of Osanguk and Park Sangwon (both from Daejeon City Hall), Do Kyungdong (Daegu City Hall), and Hwang Heegeun (Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps), the men's sabre team secured victory at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games by defeating Japan 45-44 in the team finals held on the 26th at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
With this event, the Korean delegation claimed its 15th gold medal of these Games. Korea has now won gold in the men's sabre team event at the Asian Games for four consecutive tournaments, following victories in Incheon in 2014, Jakarta-Palembang in 2018, and the 2022 Hangzhou Games held in 2023.
