Bithumb announced on September 23 that it is holding the 'Profit Double Up' event in celebration of Chuseok.
This event, which runs from the previous day until November 10, is a program where new Bithumb customers and existing users with no trading history this year who apply for the event and execute both buy and sell transactions during the period will receive rewards equivalent to their profits.
The event applies only to assets in the 'Major' category in the KRW market, with rewards calculated for up to 500,000 won over a maximum of 50 days (with a daily limit of 10,000 won).
The final rewards will be distributed in bulk as Bithumb points on November 20, and these points can be exchanged for virtual assets on Bithumb. Eligibility requires completing Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, linking a KB Kookmin Bank account, and consenting to marketing communications. Users must also not be participating in any other events.
