Korean Air announced on the 23rd that it ranked 10th in the overall ranking of "World's Best Airlines" at the 2026 World Airline Awards hosted by SKYTRAX in London, UK.
SKYTRAX, an air transport consulting and evaluation organization based in London, UK and established in 1989, selects the best airlines in each category based on the results of global passenger surveys.
Korean Air demonstrated its outstanding competitiveness not only in the overall ranking, but also in detailed evaluation categories, appearing within the top 15 in a total of 14 categories.
Korean Air took the top spot in two categories: Best Economy Class Seats and Best Cabin Crew in Korea. The airline moved up two spots from third place last year to first place in the "Best Economy Class Seats" category and maintained its top position in "Best Cabin Crew in Korea" for a second consecutive year, further recognizing its excellence.
In the general categories, the airline was ranked as the 6th Best Airline in Asia, 7th Best Family-Friendly Airline in the world, 10th Cleanest Airline in the world, 13th Best Airline Cabin Crew in the world, and 13th Best Airport Services in the world.
In the Premium Economy Class division, Korean Air ranked 7th for Best Seats, 10th for Best Catering, and 15th in the overall evaluation. It also ranked 14th in the overall evaluation for economy class.
In the first class category, the airline ranked 8th for its Incheon Airport First Class Lounge, 9th for First Class Seats, and 10th for First Class Lounge Dining.
