'KB On-Gukmin TDF 2055' Achieves Top Spot with 88.57% Five-Year Return
KB Asset Management's flagship target date fund (TDF), 'KB On-Gukmin Qualified TDF 2055,' has delivered a return exceeding 88% over the past five years, posting the best long-term performance among domestic TDFs.
According to fund evaluation firm FN Guide on September 23, the five-year return of 'KB On-Gukmin Qualified TDF 2055(UH)' was 88.57%, ranking first among 115 TDFs managed by all domestic asset managers during the same period.
KB On-Gukmin Qualified TDF 2055 is a product aimed at retirement in 2055, seeking long-term asset growth through diversified investment in growth assets such as stocks and safe assets such as bonds. Based on the TDF feature of adjusting the proportion of risk and safe assets depending on the life cycle, it employs an asset allocation strategy tailored to the retirement point.
KB On-Gukmin TDF pursues an asset allocation strategy suitable for long-term investment by diversifying into various assets in the market, based on passive management. As the retirement date approaches, a 'glide path' is applied: the proportion of growth assets is gradually lowered while increasing the proportion of safe assets, adjusting the portfolio according to the investor's life cycle.
KB Asset Management also operates 'KB Dynamic TDF,' which responds more actively to market volatility. This TDF invests in a variety of assets, including real estate and commodities, and is an active-type product that adjusts asset allocation according to market conditions.
In addition, the company recently launched 'KB Korea Focus Qualified TDF,' which invests primarily in domestic assets. KB Korea Focus Qualified TDF is designed to actively participate in the growth and changes of the domestic stock market by adding various themes and styles to the KOSPI index.
Based on its diverse TDF lineup, KB Asset Management's TDFs have attracted over KRW 500 billion in fresh funds this year alone. The total TDF assets under management have also surpassed KRW 2.6 trillion.
