Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province recently hosted a vibrant event that united people through music.
On September 22, Changwon Special City successfully completed the recording of the KBS "National Singing Contest" Changwon Special City Edition at the 3·15 Marine Nuri Park, with significant interest and participation from local citizens.

This edition of the National Singing Contest was organized to pray for the successful hosting of the 26th Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival and to promote both civic harmony and the cultural and tourism appeal of Changwon.
During the recording, contestants selected through preliminary auditions took to the stage, showcasing their singing skills and unique talents they had honed over time. Local residents in attendance responded with enthusiastic applause and cheers for each performance, collaborating to create the signature lively atmosphere of the National Singing Contest.
The excitement was elevated even higher by celebratory performances from guest artists representing multiple generations, including Kim Seonghwan, Park Sangcheol, Jang Hanbyeol, Jeon Yujin, and Ryu Wonjeong. Citizens joined in by singing along to familiar songs and fully enjoying the performances, filling the 3·15 Marine Nuri Park with laughter and energy.

The episode of the KBS “National Singing Contest” Changwon Special City Edition, recorded today, is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide on October 25, ahead of the 26th Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival.
