Arute Settles Actual Trade Payments with Proprietary Stablecoin... Launching Global Commercialization
Arute is accelerating the commercialization of its digital financial platform business by applying its self-developed stablecoin to actual international trade payment settlements. Following the acquisition of business licenses from overseas regulatory authorities and the establishment of partnerships, the company has completed real transactions and plans to move its stablecoin business into full-scale service operations.
On September 22, Arute announced that it had completed an international trade payment settlement using its proprietary digital financial platform, FORTA. Recently, based on the FORTA network, Arute transferred trade payments to its global logistics partner YesLogis using a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar (USD).
The company explained that, through this transaction, it has confirmed the potential for stablecoins to be used not just in the realm of virtual assets, but as a means of payment in actual economic activities involving trade settlements.
In particular, the initiative focused on reducing the time and cost issues that previously occurred with traditional international remittances. Conventional cross-border remittances often require going through several intermediary banks, which can result in transactions taking several days to complete, and each step incurs additional fees, posing a burden.
Arute minimized the intermediary process by using its dollar-pegged stablecoin for settlement through the FORTA network. The company stated that this approach simultaneously reduced remittance times, improved transaction transparency, and dramatically lowered remittance costs.
Arute has already secured the institutional foundations necessary for its business. In June, the company obtained an official license for its stablecoin business from regulatory authorities in Kazakhstan. In July, it signed a joint business agreement (MOU) with international logistics company YesLogis to improve the efficiency of logistics payment settlements based on Web3 and stablecoin technologies.
This actual trade payment settlement represents the next phase in the business roadmap that followed license acquisition and partnership building. Arute plans to leverage its regulatory foundation and partner network to expand the global stablecoin settlement ecosystem centered around FORTA.
A company representative stated, "By obtaining official authorization from overseas regulatory agencies and establishing local networks, we have now entered the full-scale service operation phase by applying our own stablecoin to real transactions." The representative added, "Based on the institutional foundations and partnerships we have already secured, we will continue to expand the FORTA ecosystem in the global trade market."
Arute has also secured funding to drive the expansion of its new business areas. The company recently completed the recovery of a follow-up investment in Woojin Electric & Power valued at 24.7 billion won. Arute intends to use the funds obtained to fully accelerate new businesses, including stablecoins, and to pursue performance improvement.
