SP Samhwa Launches High-Strength Flooring Material "Epocote High-Strength Lining"
Optimized for Unmanned Smart Factory Environments
Minimizes Coating Indentation Even Under Repeated Operation
On September 22, SP Samhwa announced the launch of its new high-strength flooring material, "Epocote High-Strength Lining," optimized for automated guided vehicles (AGV) and autonomous mobile robots (AMR), in response to the growing adoption of smart factories.

These unmanned systems transport heavy loads repeatedly along predetermined routes, leading to potential damage such as film indentation or marking on conventional epoxy lining floors.
SP Samhwa, recognizing this issue, developed the "Epocote High-Strength Lining" with significantly improved compressive strength and hardness compared to standard epoxy linings. This minimizes indentation of the flooring film, even in environments where heavy equipment or cargo constantly moves back and forth.
The "Epocote High-Strength Lining" meets every requirement of the Korean standard KS F 4937 for parking lot floor finishes, guaranteeing excellent durability. It can be tinted in a variety of colors to suit site conditions or safety marking needs, enabling flexible color design tailored to the intended use of each space.
This product is also notable for its eco-friendliness and versatility. It has received an Environmental Label certification and complies with indoor air quality standards, demonstrating its safety. It can be widely applied in logistics warehouses and smart factories with automated systems, as well as in parking lots, offices, restaurants, hospitals, and other indoor spaces that require dust-proof flooring.
