At this exhibition, Hanwha Solutions will showcase next-generation technologies such as ultra-high voltage cable materials and closed-loop solutions, while also expanding technology cooperation with major Chinese cable companies. Hanwha Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ZTT for the joint development of a 132kV-class offshore wind power cable TR-XLPE and semiconductive material package, as well as the application cable. The company has also agreed to cooperate with Hengtong on the joint development and application of XLPE insulation materials and semiconductive shielding materials for ultra-high voltage, submarine, and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cables.

Hanwha Solutions will also release its closed-loop XLPE solution, which utilizes its proprietary decrosslinking technology. The company plans to present the potential of circular economy technology that reuses scrap cable materials as new cable materials.

Carlo Scalata, Head of the Wire & Cable Division at Hanwha Solutions, stated, "China is an important market that is experiencing rapid growth in ultra-high voltage transmission and offshore wind power. Based on technology validation and joint development with major local customers, we will continue to expand business opportunities not only in China but also in the global market."
