EY Korea Donates 900 Sacks of Rice for Chuseok
Sharing with the Vulnerable for Three Consecutive Years
Over 3,000 Sacks of Rice Donated, Worth a Total of 120 Million Won
Global accounting and consulting firm EY Korea donated 900 10kg sacks of rice to support vulnerable groups in the Seoul area for Chuseok.
The donated rice will be distributed to vulnerable groups and food banks and markets in the Seoul area through the Korea National Council on Social Welfare's National Food Bank. This marks the third consecutive year that EY Korea has donated rice for Chuseok, totaling about 3,000 10kg sacks of rice worth approximately 120 million won.
This year’s donation was made possible through the voluntary participation of employees via the company’s in-house social contribution network, ‘EY Korea Hanmaeum Nanonumi’. To mark its 20th anniversary, it was newly established as a nonprofit corporation named ‘Han Young Hanmaeum Nanonumi’.
