Daishin Securities Launches 'Auto Order Service for Overseas Stock Quotes'
Daishin Securities has launched the 'Auto Order Service for Overseas Stock Quotes' for its U.S. stock trading clients.
According to Daishin Securities on September 22, the auto order service for overseas stock quotes allows clients to preset trading conditions, at which point the system monitors real-time stock prices and automatically executes orders when the conditions are met. This service applies to stocks listed in the U.S. markets, excluding OTC (over-the-counter) stocks.
Clients can set various monitoring criteria, depending on whether they are buying new stocks or selling held stocks. Automatic orders can be set based on target price or rate of return. The service also provides a 'trailing stop' function, which automatically buys or sells stocks after prices move to a certain level and then rebound or decline. The same condition settings can be applied to newly acquired stocks in the portfolio.
The monitoring time for stock quotes can be selected according to investment style. Clients can choose to monitor only during regular trading hours, or span the entire trading period—including pre-market, regular, and after-hours—from 5 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. the following day.
The service can be accessed on Daishin Securities' Cybos and Creon HTS and MTS platforms. Clients must apply to use the service and then set quote monitoring conditions for each stock. However, it is important to note that information transmission and order execution may be delayed or rejected due to rapid price fluctuations, order surges, or circumstances at overseas exchanges and quote providers, so users should check relevant precautions before using the service.
