Shin Sanghoon has climbed to 477th in the world golf rankings.
In the men's weekly world golf rankings released on the 22nd (Korea time), he earned 0.302 points, making a remarkable leap of 261 spots from 738th place last week. He accumulated ranking points by winning the Golfzon Open on the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour. After tying with Jung Chanmin, he secured victory by sinking a winning birdie on the second playoff hole, which resumed at the 18th. This marked his third career win, coming three years after his last title at the Players Championship in November 2023.

Kim Joo-hyung is 31st, Im Sungjae is 60th, Kim Seonghyeon is 185th, An Byeonghun is 221st, Jang Yoobin is 224th, and Moon Doyeob is at 233rd place. Noh Seungyul, who finished tied for 7th at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship on the PGA Korn Ferry (second division) Tour, improved his ranking from 390th last week to 364th.
