The Blue Cross Medical Volunteer Group is an NGO under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Welfare that has engaged in volunteer work in medically underserved areas both in Korea and abroad for 29 years since its establishment in 1997. It offers free medical care and health and hygiene education to medically vulnerable groups.
With support from IBK Investment & Securities, this volunteer effort brought together professional medical staff from various specialties, including internal medicine, thyroid surgery, orthopedics, anesthesiology and pain medicine, and dentistry. They provided rural residents with comprehensive medical services such as examinations, consultations, and treatment.
This initiative was part of IBK Investment & Securities’ employee participation ESG activities. Employees provided first aid kits to rural residents, assisted with medical care, physical therapy, and supported overall site operations to ensure that rural residents could receive medical services comfortably.
Since 2024, the company has continued its participation in medical volunteer activities alongside the Blue Cross Medical Volunteer Group every year, fulfilling its commitment to engaging directly in meaningful sharing activities in areas where real help is needed.
